Is The Creator Passport Worth It? Our Honest TCP Review
Before we get into the long answer on whether TCP is worth it, let’s put your curiosity to rest. Yes, it is. One hundred percent. Honestly, don’t waste the next 10 minutes reading the rest of this if that’s all you needed to know.
Okay, now for people like us who need validation before spending money on something as over the top as “how to grow on Instagram,” here’s the full story.
We laughed when we first saw the price of The Creator Passport in 2023. Sagar and I both had our jobs then, earning six figures here in New Zealand, saving up for a year of travel. We had enough money to buy the course outright, but when we saw the amount, our eyes nearly popped out. We told each other there was no way these people were ever going to sell this, @theloverspassport didn’t even have a million followers yet.

We laughed it off, but kept following them anyway because we genuinely liked their content. There’s a character in Indian mythology called Eklavya, so poor he couldn’t afford to learn archery from the best mentor around, so he taught himself by watching from a distance. That’s pretty much what we did, latching onto every free post, podcast episode, and freebie lesson they put out, still not convinced we should spend that kind of money.
Then, 20 months later, we spent it.
So how did THAT happen?
Is The Creator Passport worth it?
That’s exactly what this creator passport review is answering, honestly, no sugarcoating. We’re covering everything we wish we knew before joining, what actually changed for us, what you get inside, and what you should be warned about before considering it yourself.
One disclaimer upfront, this is a high value course, and some of the links in this post are affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you join through them. We’re only comfortable sharing that because we believe in this course.
Is The Creator Passport Worth It?
Yes. If you’re serious about growing your audience and building a business around content creation, then one hundred percent.
We bought this course in June 2025 when we had 2,000 followers on Instagram (Our page), 0 on Facebook, 0 on TikTok, just over 3,000 on YouTube, and 0 income. Now, at the time of writing this (September 2026), we have over 100K followers across Instagram and Facebook, over 65K on YouTube, 12K on TikTok, and we’ve earned over 25K from content creation.
Does that mean everyone who joins gets this result guaranteed? Obviously not. Just like everything else in life, the outcome comes down to your effort and, most importantly, your beliefs. We’ll get into that later in the article.
But it’s important you know this isn’t a magic bullet. You still have to put in the work to get results.

What Is The Creator Passport
TCP, The Creator Passport, is a course run by two extremely passionate and driven creators, Giselle and Stephen, known on social media as @theloverspassport.
While most people on Instagram are chasing whatever trend or one-off trick is working this week, TCP focuses on something different, helping you build a real foundation for your own business. It’s not just about growing followers. It’s about building something sustainable enough that you can actually keep doing what you love.
The course runs across three tracks.
Track 1, The Manual Method, gets you off auto and teaches you to actually use your camera, photography, videography, filming yourself, all of it.
Track 2, Grow Like a Pro, covers branding, finding your content pillars, and the actual growth strategy side of Instagram. They have a few lessons on TikTok, YouTube and Blog as well.
Track 3, The Six Figure Fast Track, is where the business side lives, pricing your work, pitching brands, contracts, and building income streams beyond just followers.
Before any of that though, there’s a mindset module right at the start, a few hours long, that sets the tone for the whole course. It sounds small, but it’s the part that actually shifts how you think about all the rest of it.
Seriously, Stop Playing Small.
Don’t Make The Same Mistake As Us!
Why We Decided to Buy It
We were in the Philippines around May 2025. If you’ve followed us for a while, you’ll know Instagram was never really our focus. We always saw ourselves as YouTubers, and Instagram was just something we did on the side, hoping it would take off on its own one day.
From March 2024 to May 2025, we uploaded long-form YouTube videos consistently (Check out our videos HERE). Somewhere along the way, it stopped being fun. We were travelling full-time, editing late into the night, chasing uploads, until we hit a wall. What was supposed to be freedom had started to feel like another job. By November 2024, we’d monetised YouTube, but the payout barely covered coffee. Brand deals were nowhere.
We even considered a working holiday visa to Finland, just to buy ourselves more time to figure things out. But deep down, we knew more time wasn’t the problem, we needed a mindset shift.
That’s when we got hooked on The Creator Passport podcast. It felt different, practical and honest instead of the usual guru advice that never went anywhere. We started listening on our runs, and every single time we came back with more energy and ideas than we’d had in months.
One episode talked about finding five people to keep you accountable and grow alongside. We reached out to a few creators we followed, some ignored us, some gave advice. At that point we had under 2,000 followers.
But one couple stood out. They’d taken TCP earlier that year, and while their growth hadn’t exploded, their content had clearly gotten better. When we asked them to be our accountability buddy, they brought up TCP again. At the time, we wondered if they’d been brainwashed, why were they still talking about a course that hadn’t blown up their numbers?
But we kept talking to them, and found out they’d actually made their investment back through brand deals. Then she said something that stuck with us: “We’re not taking deals anymore because our one-year trip is ending, and I don’t want to get busy working. That’s not why we left our jobs.”
That hit hard. Here we were, pulling 12-hour days trying to earn our way to freedom, and she was choosing not to work so she could actually live it. That’s when it clicked, we might have been focusing on the wrong thing entirely.
We spent the next month before deciding, listening to every podcast episode, watching their Reels, and talking to other TCP students. Every single one said the same thing, it was worth it.
So at the end of June 2025, with just eight months of savings left (approx 20K in the bank), we took the leap and bought the course. It was the biggest investment we’d made, at the exact moment it made the least financial sense to make it.
What You Actually Get Inside TCP
TCP is huge, over 300 pre-recorded video lessons spread across the three tracks.
We’ve been in it for twelve months and still haven’t finished everything, not because it’s confusing, but because it’s deep, and they actually tell you not to binge it.
You get lifetime access to every lesson, but it’s the first four months where Giselle and Stephen are personally involved that make the biggest difference. Every Monday, they open a question box inside the portal, anyone in the cohort can ask anything, and one of them replies within 24 hours. It’s personal enough that you never feel stuck for long.
On top of that, there are monthly group calls where you can ask your question to them directly, live. Miss the call, and it’s recorded and saved in the portal for later. They bring in guest speakers too, and run co-working sessions alongside the calls.
The community itself is underrated. You get access to hundreds of other creators, people to get feedback from, share wins with, and keep you accountable.
There are team challenges and mini competitions running constantly, and the amount of information can feel like a lot, but because it’s all guided step by step, that overwhelm turns into excitement instead of panic.
We also grabbed the early bird bonus (I highly recommend doing this) when we signed up, a 1:1 call and an Instagram audit. Our call was with Stephen, and he took the time to actually understand our account and gave us a clear roadmap for our goals.
With 200+ students in the cohort, the fact that he still knew exactly who we were said a lot.
Did It Work? Our Real Results
We didn’t magically grow overnight. The course is massive, and there’s no way anyone browses through everything, learns it quickly, and gets results. Like we said, you’re building a foundation. This isn’t a quick turnaround.
From June to November 2025, our cohort was live, four calls with Giselle and Stephen, competitions, their direct support, and office hours. We soaked up everything we could.
We also had a major lifestyle change happening at the same time. We were travelling overseas until August 2025, then moved into our tiny van to travel New Zealand and cut our living costs. We slowly built our brand around New Zealand content on Instagram, and from October 2025 onwards we started seeing real results on our profile.
We graduated in November 2025, and not long after, we were invited onto the very podcast that started this whole journey in the first place.
You can our podcast here:
Until January 2026, we didn’t land a single paid deal in New Zealand. We also realised New Zealand is a completely different market from the US and most of the world, so monetising here was tougher than the course examples made it look. We landed our first tourism board deal in February 2026, though it wasn’t significant money yet. Growth was steady from there, not exponential.
The thing about TCP is, it hands you the information, the strategy, and the tools, but the real asset is the people who join alongside you. Our growth wasn’t linear, there were plenty of low points, but the network of creators around the world meant that whenever we got stuck, we could just DM someone and get an answer straight away.
Instead of second-guessing ourselves on everything, we got feedback from people who’d actually been through it, and that’s worth more than almost anything else in this industry.

Who TCP Is Not For
We’ll be honest, if you’re looking for a quick fix, this isn’t for you. It’s also not for people with a lot going on in their life who can’t dedicate themselves to the live calls, office hours, and the other accountability pieces that make the course actually work.
The whole idea of TCP is building a community around you and using Giselle and Stephen’s presence to elevate your own experience. If you can’t show up for any of that, you’re not going to get the results you’re hoping for.
A few more honest flags, pulled from what we tell people who ask us directly:
If you have a full-time job, this course won’t magically change things for you overnight. You’ll actually feel more time pressure at first, since you’re adding 2 to 3 hours of lessons a week on top of everything else. If you follow the system properly, the changes come, just not instantly.
If your only goal is quick money, this isn’t for you either, unless you’re already established and just need help adding more income streams.
If you’re not US based, a heads up, some of the live calls fall at strange hours for you. We’ve woken up at 3am for a few. The odd timing didn’t affect our ability to learn or grow, since everything gets recorded and the weekly question box gave us a way to get answers without needing to be on the call live. But if that matters a lot to you, it’s worth knowing upfront.
And if comparing yourself to others affects you a lot, know that you’ll see creators at every stage inside TCP, some brand new, some much further along, and the US market moves differently to the rest of the world. It’s easy to feel behind. Going back to the mindset lessons helped us more than once when that hit.
One thing we’d genuinely recommend, be hands-on from day one. Apply the lessons as you learn them, and without really noticing it, you’ll start growing and making money in this industry.
How Enrollment Actually Works
TCP doesn’t run like a normal course; you cannot join whenever you feel ready. It only opens once a year, and right now the cohort is closed, with the next opening confirmed for 2027, exact dates not yet announced.
Before the doors open, they always run a free event and a free challenge first, then a final live workshop, and that’s when enrollment actually opens, usually for just a few days before it closes again.
Plus, they’re running another challenge this October! If you want to connect with the community and step up your pitching and monetisation game, you can join HERE
Early joiners tend to get the best bonuses. That’s how we got our 1:1 call and Instagram audit, and honestly, those two things alone made the whole experience feel far more personal. If you already know TCP is something you want, it’s worth joining during the workshop or right at the end of it rather than waiting.
One thing a lot of people don’t know, they’ve been known to randomly give the full course to someone from the workshop attendees. It sounds wild, but they’ve done it more than once, so it’s worth following their updates closely if you’re serious about joining.
If you sign up through our link, you’ll also get our own bonuses, our Mindset Tips to Set You Up for Success in TCP, and a 30-Day Support Check-In once you’re in. Just send us an email once you join TCP and we will be in touch!

Frequently Asked Questions About The Creator Passport
Is The Creator Passport worth it?
For us, yes, without hesitation. It gave us the foundation, community, and clarity we needed to actually build something sustainable, not just chase followers.
How much does The Creator Passport cost?
The course is $2,997 USD. There’s also a payment plan option if you’d rather spread the cost. It’s a significant investment, and we won’t pretend otherwise, but for us the value came from the depth of the material, the direct access to Giselle and Stephen, and the community that came with it.
Is The Creator Passport a scam?
No. It’s a legitimate program run by Giselle and Stephen, the real people behind @theloverspassport, who built their own business from the ground up before teaching others how to do it. We paid for it ourselves, and we’re still using what we learned well after our cohort ended.
Who is The Creator Passport for?
Honestly, a wide range of people. There were creators in our cohort just starting out with zero followers, and others further along trying to turn content into an actual income. If you’re willing to show up and do the work, it fits most stages.
Do you need a big following to join?
No. We joined with under 2,000 followers ourselves. Some of our batch mates created a brand new account when they joined the course.
Is TCP only for Instagram, or only for travel creators?
Neither. The lessons apply across platforms, and while Giselle and Stephen are travel creators so a lot of their examples lean that way, the actual strategy, pricing, and pitching lessons aren’t travel specific at all.

Is The Creator Passport as useful for non-US creators?
The growth side is universal, but monetisation leans US heavy. That said, the strategies themselves still translate anywhere. We’re based in New Zealand, and given how small our economy is, we found monetisation challenging at first.
That said, they don’t leave you high and dry. There’s an alumni community you can join, and by the end of the cohort you’ll likely have built your own little group to work through that exact challenge, the way we did.
We have also made 4 x our investment as non-US creators.
Final Thoughts, Is The Creator Passport Worth It?
Looking back, we wish we’d joined sooner. We spent months laughing off the price, watching from the sidelines, convinced we could figure it all out ourselves eventually. Maybe we could have. But we’d still be guessing, still burnt out on YouTube, still without the community that’s carried us through the hardest parts of building this.
If you’re asking whether The Creator Passport is worth it, our answer hasn’t changed since the top of this post. Yes, if you’re actually willing to show up and do the work. It’s not a shortcut, and nobody hands you results. But the foundation, the people, and the clarity it gives you are worth more than the price tag suggests.
