Who We Are

We Left Everything. We Wouldn’t Change a Thing.

Hi, we’re Sagar and Ami, two pretty normal 90s kids but we accidentally became digital nomads 2 years ago. All we wanted was to travel more and spend time together, so we saved for 8 years to travel full-time for a year.

That year stretched to a year and a half, then we ran out of money. Well, almost! So we came back home to New Zealand and moved into the van we’d bought in 2022. That bought us six more months.

We travelled the South Island in our van for 7 months and this is when we realised this freedom was all we ever wanted and started grinding to make content creation pay. Just as it started working, our tenants gave notice they were moving out.

We knew we’d changed since buying that home at 28. So we made the tough call to sell our home and go all in on content creation. This blog is everything we’ve experienced as full-time travellers in New Zealand.
