We are Sagar and Ami and yes, we live in a motorhome.
Not because we have to. Because we chose to.
Two years ago we were doing what you’re probably doing right now; good jobs, a home, a plan that made sense on paper. And we were quietly wondering if this was it.
So we made a call. We packed up, left the corporate world behind, and spent 18 months travelling across Asia and Europe figuring out what we actually wanted. No safety net, no blueprint, just a lot of learning on the go.
When we came back to New Zealand, we had one thing to figure out; could vanlife actually work as a base for building a content creation business? So we moved into our tiny campervan, Wander Bee, and spent six months slowly driving the South Island.
We fell hard for that lifestyle.
So we made the biggest call yet. We sold our house, paid off every debt, and bought a motorhome that is now both our home and our office. We work from the road, we travel full time, and we’re building something real while doing it.
This blog is part of that something real.
Everything you read here is based on personal experience or an embarrassing amount of research. We write about New Zealand travel the way we wish someone had written about it for us, honest costs, real mistakes, freedom camping explained properly, and road trip tips that actually help you plan a trip rather than just dream about one.
